Reagan lost 3 pounds & 10% body fat

"Since joining CrossFit Central, the biggest results I’ve seen are the ones I never thought I signed up for.  I expected to go to class, get my butt kicked and go home. I had no preference between a women’s only or a coed class.  I ended up in a women’s only class due to scheduling. I see these ladies three times per week and they have become some of my best and most supportive friends. We celebrate engagements, promotions, a first pull-up, a first pushup.  Each of us shows up to do our personal best and we don’t have time to sit around and judge anyone. We are all working together, cheering for each other and truly interested in everyone’s success.  Few things create a bond like that.

I have more energy than ever (if you know me, this is saying something) and I genuinely feel great. CrossFit Central has helped me diminish muscle imbalances that were causing pain in my knees.  I thought my running days were over!  I now have no knee pain whatsoever and am able to run, bicycle or do anything I want pain-free."  Read Reagan's Story

Monday, 02.20.12: February Community Workouts

This Saturday we are hosting February Community Workouts!  Community workouts are open to everyone and a great way to find out what CrossFit is all about!  If you are a current member, bringing a friend is your entry fee for each workout.  Please note that our UTB is now back at its original location, Under the MoPac Bridge at Town Lake.  Kettlebell workouts are held RedBlack Gym.

How to sign up: Email the workout you would like to attend to the correct email account below. If you are a current client include your friend's name & email address

Friday, 02.17.12: Register for THE OPEN

 

The Open is here!  This precursor to South Central Regionals and ultimately The 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games begins this Wednesday, February 22nd. This year, we are all in it together!  All of our athletes will be taking on The Open WODs in classes on Thursdays and Fridays.  We are calling on each of you to join us in registering for The Open, tracking your workout progress and interacting with the CrossFit community internationally.  We cannot think of a better way to celebrate our sport and connect with the community at large!  This is your chance to see what The Sport of Fitness is all about.  The affiliate with the most athletes in our region will receive tickets for each of their registered athletes to the South Central Regionals in Houston, TX.  The affiliate with the most athletes regsitered worldwide will receive tickets to The 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games!  Help us show the world how strong and amazing our community truly is!

What you should do:

  • Register and create your athlete profile
    **be sure to choose your affiliate either CC, CCATX, RedBlack or CF Trigger Point
  • Complete The Open WODs in your regular class
  • Log your score or time for each WOD on your CrossFit Games Profile
  • Bring your best effort everyday and HAVE FUN!!
    ***this is for all athletes of all levels

What you will receive:

  • a chance to receive tickets to the South Central Regionals & The Reebok CrossFit Games
  • a larger connection with the athlete inside of you
  • interaction, encouragement & competition from the CrossFit community internationally
